Courses Offered at PGCON

As per changing demand of modernization in medical field the couple felted the need of specialization care of cancer patient and need of nursing tutor, they plan to start the college of nursing where they can produce graduate nurse, so they execute the plan to established college of nursing. In the year 1992 with yearly intake of 60 Students. College of nursing was started with the affiliation of Jiwaji University, Indian Nursing Council, State Nursing Council and after recognized by University Grant Commission and now the yearly intake of this college are 100 students. So far 24th batch, 1200 students of B.Sc. (N) has passed out and 29th batch will be taken in this academic session 2020-21..

M.Sc. Nursing Program (From 2003 to ....)

Modernization in nursing profession demand for Nurse Leader, Nurse Educator, Nurse Researcher and Nurse Administrator etc. so the trust felt need for these post in education and administration in both hospital and educational institute. Nurse Researcher in the field of nursing care and nursing education, nurse leader to lead nursing profession and nursing educational program. The trust plan to start master of science in nursing and in the year 2003 M.Sc.(N) started in this college with yearly intake of 10 students and now yearly intake are 25 students with all specialties. 14th batches, 318 students have successfully completed in M.Sc. (N) and 18th batch will be taken in the session 2020-21.
P.B B.Sc. Nursing Program (From 2010 to ....)
As per need of graduate nurse Post Basic B.Sc. (N) Program in the year 2010 with yearly intake of 40 students, 8th batch 315 students has successfully completed this course and this year we are going to take 11th batch will be taken in the session 2020-21.
Ph.D. Program (Upcoming 2020-21)
A PhD in nursing allows nurses to practice as educators. Therefore, the shortage of nursing educators will be reduced tremendously. By viewing this need the trust plan to start Ph.D. in nursing program. At present it is under process and soon the institution will start Ph.D. in nursing under MP Medical Science University Jabalpur.

GNM Program(From 1985 to ....)

In order to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, School of Nursing was established by the trust in the year 1985 and now with yearly intake of 60 students. Till 29th batch, more than 1400 students of GNM have passed out and 33rd batch will be taken in this academic session 2020-21.
ANM Program (From 2011 to ....)
Increase need of nursing care in grass route level (rural community) we need more female health worker so the trust started ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) in the year 2011 with yearly intake of 40 students till 7th batch of ANM student has passed out and this year we are going to admit 10th batch of ANM students.
